I have been alerted that a scammer has recently been impersonating me and contacting people using my name. If you receive any unexpected messages, requests for money, personal information, login codes, or anything else that seems unusual, please do not respond. I will not send a message requesting for funds or otherwise from anyone.

To help keep everyone safe:

• Double-check the sender’s email/phone number before replying.
• Do not click any suspicious links or provide personal information.
• If you’re unsure whether a message is really from me, contact me directly through my phone number or the rectory’s.

Please your vigilance is important. Thank you for your understanding, and please let me know if you’ve been contacted by someone pretending to be me.

CWL Bake Sale

It’s that time of year again… time for our CWL Bake Sale!

The CWL is once again hosting their annual Christmas bake sale. It will be held after Mass on Sunday, December 3rd. All proceeds will be donated to the Santa Maria Residents Spiritual Care program.

Please join us for coffee and goodies and fellowship. Pick up some baking to take home with you.

All donations of baking for our sale will be most gratefully accepted. Please bring your priced items downstairs before Mass.

Join us on Sunday for a potluck and board games on October 22nd. Please arrive at 4:30 PM. Supper will begin at 5:00 PM.

Bring your favorite supper dish and game!

We are having a CWL meeting this Wednesday, April 19th at 7:30 PM in the church basement. All ladies of the parish are most welcome.

On December 4, 2022, St. Agnes CWL sponsored a bake sale. The bake sale raised $560.00 with the proceeds going to Visitation House.

Thank you to everyone for your generosity in donating baking and craft items and to those who purchased goodies. It was wonderful to see so many joining in fellowship after mass, and enjoying the treats provided.

The CWL would like to thank everyone who contributed to our protein food drive for the “Good Neighbour” project. Because of your generosity, we were able to pass along 85 pounds of food. Our donation was most gratefully received.

St. Agnes CWL Project

The CWL is asking for your support with a project they are undertaking between May 15 and June 15.

The NEIGHBOUR PROJECT, spearheaded by St. Anne’s Parish, aids families referred to them by Catholic Family Services.  Some of these families are new immigrants and some just need a helping hand.  In addition to household goods, they also have begun supplying food items.

We are specifically collecting protein food items to pass along to them.  Dried and canned beans and legumes, canned meats and fish, canned stews and chillis and peanut butter.

There is a shelf at the entrance to the church for your donations along with a list of items we are asking for.  Any donations would be greatly appreciated.

We will be collecting these items between May 15 and June 15.
